Two-time American Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Michael Ramirez will be at The Reagan Library for a lecture entitled Editorial Cartooning, Journalism and a Citizen’s Responsibility in a New World Order. The lecture and book signing are free to attend; however, reservations are required by registering online via the link below or by calling 805-522-2977. Prior to his speech, Mr. Ramirez will be signing copies of his book Everyone Has the Right to My Opinion.

Michael Ramirez, currently a Senior Editor and editorial cartoonist for Investor’s Business Daily, has said, “An editorial cartoon is not just a funny picture. It is a powerful instrument of journalism, sometimes sharp and refined, its message cutting quickly to the point, and other times, blunt and overpowering, seizing the readers’ attention with its dark imagery.”

Mr. Ramirez is a regular contributor to USA Today and The Weekly Standard Magazine. His work is seen worldwide with a distribution of over 400 newspapers and magazines through Creators Syndicate.
